I have not been able to find much information about Tandy Davis. According to Mandy Evans, Tandy was living in the Tulsa Oklahoma area and owned a large emporium that sold various items. He was also a realtor who laid out and sold all of west Tulsa.
He was an uncle to George so he must have been Theodore's brother. Theodore and Susie Davis's son Erham did go to Tulsa to work in a store out there. The story has it that he was farming and threw the reins down and took off saying that there must be a better way of making a living that looking up a mule's backside.
While living in Tulsa, Erham was crossing the street and was hit by a car and died.
Erhman Theodore Davis was my grandfather. He owned the grocery store across from the home that he and my grandmother Mary Edith Hicks Davis lived in on the Sand Springs line. He was know to never look either way before he crossed and just charged out into traffic expecting both lanes of traffic to stop. Since it was night, I suppose the car he charged out in front of didn't see him thus hitting him and killing him. My father, Clyde Theodore Davis, was sitting in the house with his mother and heard the car hit him. He rushed to his side just as he was taking his last breath.
